Position: Lawyer
Department: Business and Contract
Deadline: 03.27.2015
Contract preparation with suppliers and service provider, in lease contract and other legal related affairs;
Representing the company in any legal dispute arising in Ethiopia;
Responsible for all legal services related;
Responsible for the organization of drafting, negotiations of PSA related contracts and future pipeline agreement, JOA agreement, lease agreement, etc.;
Responsible for production and business activities of the legal text of tenders modifications, enhancements, confirmation.;
Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence with suppliers, service providers, contractors and other business counterparts.
Monitor proposed or newly enacted policy, Ethiopian laws, regulations and on-going compliance issues that will impact the business, activities and operations, and advise on and implement necessary compliance program.
Provide legal support in contentious matters including the collection of background information and evidential materials.
Provide legal advices on handling external inquiries.
Do other related jobs assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
Education background:
A law degree and a post-graduate certificate in law
Work experience:
More than 5 years' solid experiences
Technical skills:
Well knowledge of the international and Ethiopian law, particularly with regard to commercial matters, good business negotiation skills.

2. Energetic, mature, independent and able to handle multi tasks and work under pressure;
3. Proficient in MSOffice and good computer literacy;
4. Strong oral and written skills in Amharic and English.
